RS232 to RS485 converter RTS controlled with DB25 connector extended temperature range.
We designed the 485-25A converter to provide error free half-duplex data communication utilizing the standard RS485 protocol. The RS485 driver is enabled through RS232 RTS line providing fast multi-drop capability for a variety of applications using the single pair RS485 differential signals.
Distances in excess of 4000 feet are easily attained with the 485-25A data converter.
These interface drivers conveniently plug into the DB25 connector commonly found on the standard IBM-PC.
The 485-25A can operate for both DTE and DCE configurations with the possible addition of a NULL modem converter for certain DCE applications.
