An ActiveX control is included with this utility that provides a simple, easy to use interface for creating custom applications using any platform that has the ability to interface to ActiveX technology.

 
ASCII terminal communications program

Version 1.5 of EZTerminal expands version 1.2's capabilities. In addition to the original capabilities of EZTerminal, communication settings can now be saved and restored, transmit and receive data are separated by color, and controls are conveniently accessible on a toolbar. Version 1.5 is also capable of saving incoming data to a file.
 

 
Communications Send/Receive File Utility

This utility allows the user to Transmit a disk file out the comport and Receive data from the comport saving to a disk file. Receiving data is controlled by a time interval that can be configured by the user. Baud Rate and Comport number are configured by the user. This utility assumes that the RS232 data format is 8-N-1 (8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit.)

C++ Class library and Automation COM server

This file has two distinct features: A complete C++ class library (source code) that gives access to all Integrity Instruments I/O module functions and an Automation COM server that allows easy access to these functions for Visual Basic and VBA enabled applications such as Excel.

Note: The Automation COM server is an extremely simple service very similar to an ActiveX control. Please view ReadMe.htm for installation and help information.

RS485 Driver: Windows NT Programming Interface 'C' WIN32

To access RS485 driver from Windows NT is actually easier than Windows 95. Install the RS485NT.SYS driver and open a channel to the driver using the CreateFile() function. Then, read and write information using ReadFile() and WriteFile() functions. Baud rate and the like are configured using registry entries. The device driver handles all of the RS-485 multi-drop RTS drive enable issues for Models: 485-25A and 485-25I.
RS485 Driver: Windows 95 Programming Interface 'C' & Visual Basic

To access the RS-485 driver from Windows 95 from either 'C' or Visual Basic, merely install the new SERIAL.VXD driver and use the existing communications functions available for the language. For 'C' use the WIN32 serial communication interface functions: CreateFile(), ReadFile(), WriteFile(), SetCommState(), GetCommState(), etc. If you are using Visual Basic. merely use the built-in serial communications functions found in the professional edition. The device driver handles all of the RS-485 multi-drop RTS drive enable issues for Models: 485-25A and 485-25I.
